Hiiiiiiii!
Thank you so much for being here! Let me introduce myself. My name is Courtney Walston and I am a lover of all things visual arts.
I am a Graphic Designer and Marketing Specialist for #1 Properties, a real estate brokerage, in Cheyenne, WY. I am also a semi-professional portrait/fine art photographer. I enjoy both of my jobs so, SO much, as they allow me the creative freedom I've always craved since I was a kid.
I am insanely passionate about creating striking visual work, whether it be a marketing flyer or portraits (seriously, if I ever photograph you, I will end up laying on the ground at some point).
Photography and I go wayyyy back (to 2014). I will never forget shooting and developing my first roll of 35mm film in my high school dark room. 11 years later and here I am! I love capturing moments, whether that be a wedding or a meteor shower.
I really delved into design in college and found my niche in print design through the student newspapers I was part of. During my senior year at Colorado State University (Go Rams!), I decided to pursue marketing design, as it’s a nice mixture of print and digital design. Fitting designs together like puzzle pieces is one of my favorite things.
A little about me as a person: I love kitty cats, photographing the night sky (you can take a peek at those photos!), laughing at myself, tasty lattes, reading, collecting vinyls and (you guessed it) lilacs.
